recipient services

Recipients 60 years and older who reside in Latrobe, Unity Township, Ligonier, Ligonier Township, Derry and Derry Township may receive program services for an average of two hours per week. All services are provided free of charge and may include the following by screened and trained volunteers:

Receive escorted rides to the doctor, store, and other destinations.

*Service is dependent upon volunteer availability and traveling distance.

Get help with completing forms, writing letters,

and referrals for services.

Receive a friendly phone call from a volunteer because everyone needs a friend!

Get assistance with special projects for yard work, painting, and more...

A volunteer will help you set up your cell phone, computer, internet, or TV.

Laurel Faith in Action is a wonderful resource that is available to YOU free of charge! We are here to help and willing to assist you. Please do not be shy, even if you just have questions about the program. You may not need services now, but someday you may...so please do not hesitate to reach out and inquire about our program.

*Please know that for the safety of volunteers and recipients, Laurel Faith in Action does not do anything medical or handle medications.*

Available services are subject to volunteer availability.

Each individual recipient must be approved by the Executive Director for services.
